Do you enjoy science, biology, chemistry and maths? Would you like a career in the health industry?
If you answered 'yes' to one or both of these questions, or know someone who would, you or they may be a good fit for a future career in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science.
Monash University's Parkville campus is home to Monash's Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, currently ranked #1 in Australia*. We specialise in training school leavers and postgraduate students in how diseases work in the body, and how medicines can be made to treat new and evolving disease - as well as how medicines can be taken safely to benefit both individual patients and broader healthcare systems.
On Sunday, 17 August from 10am - 2pm we are opening our doors to the general public as part of Monash's annual suite of Open Days**. Visitors will have the chance to:
- Talk to current students and academics about our courses.
- Hear from recent course graduates about their post-study employment journeys.
- Take a campus tour.
- Undertake hands-on activities that showcase what pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists do.
- Discover career opportunities from these disciplines.
- Gain a sense as to what it's really like to study at Monash - including international opportunities, extra-curricular activities and student support.
- And much more! Grab some free food or a giveaway and soak up the vibe of campus life.

It's recommended that you use public transport to come to Monash Parkville on event day; the no. 19 tram from Elizabeth Street leaves the Melbourne CBD every 6 minutes, and Royal Park Train Station is ten minutes walk from the campus. If you are driving, parking is not available on-campus. You can park in surrounding streets; the Melbourne Zoo carpark is also a short walk away to campus. Bicycle parking is available on-campus.
