Science of the sewer at the Museum of Modern (f)Art

  • - (AEST)
  • Museum of Modern (f)Art, basement of Barwon Water building.
55-67 Ryrie Street Geelong 3220, Geelong VIC 3216, Australia

Ever wondered what happens when you flush the toilet or what could happen if the wrong things are flushed?  Do you know what a Fatberg is, or what the 3P’s are? Come along to Barwon Water's Museum of Modern (f)Art and dive head first into all things sewer related.

For National Science Week, we’re offering an after-school session where kids and their grownups can join in for some hands-on experiments.

For example, take the ‘shake it up’ challenge to find out how quickly toilet paper breaks down in the sewer, and use balloons to explore how farts make a noise!

There is no need to book, just pop in. We're open from 3.30 pm to 5 pm, with the experiments running from 4 pm.
