Minibeast Mayhem! Science Week at Pakenham Library Session 1 AGES 3-6

  • - (AEST)
  • Pakenham Library
Corner of John & Henry Street, Pakenham VIC 3810, Australia

What is a minibeast?

“Minibeast” is a name often given to small animals that don’t have bones inside their body. Instead, they have an exoskeleton (an outside skeleton).

There are many different types of minibeasts and they are all around us; they can be butterflies, bees, wasps, ants, snails, spiders, beetles, centipedes and many, many more. In fact, there are more minibeasts on earth than any other animal!

Come along during Science Week and learn all about minibeasts with our hands-on incursion with Labcoat Learning.

Note: Please book a ticket for each participating child - parents and carers are expected to stay for attendees (required for attendees 12 and under), but they do not require a ticket.

A National Science Week event, presented with the support of the Inspiring Victoria program.

Please note:

If you have booked a ticket and are unable to attend, please contact the library to cancel your booking.

If you feel unwell, please stay home.

Children must be supervised at all times.
