Join the Plants for Space researchers to re-imagine how we can grow the plants and make food for astronauts that tastes good and that they actually want to eat!
Your Mission:
Become a space farmer, sow your astro plant seeds in hydroponics units, investigate what conditions help the plants grow most sustainably- test with dipsticks, and track colour, size, and taste!
Be inspired by your experiment and help create a Community Spacefood Cookbook by submitting your own recipes, results and ideas!
Submit one or more of the following via online form:
- Recipe (Design a future space meal)
- Experiment (Your test setup and results)
- Or Sci-Fi Story (Inspired by your plant/recipe)
Submissions will be featured in the Plants for space Online gallery, and selected submissions will be made into a printed SpaceFood Cookbook (printed!)
