    20 Labouchere Road, South Perth WA 6151, Australia

Bring your students along to Perth Zoo for an exciting, fun-filled day discovering how our conservation actions help with species survival.

Throughout the day your class will;

  • Gain valuable research skills in an interactive session with our education team as we discuss how water quality effects the survival of the critically endangered Western Swamp Tortoise.
  • Participate in a guided walk, learning about Australian Wetlands and the species who rely on this habitat for their survival.
  • Enjoy a special zoo keeper presentation to discover their role in the conservation of an endangered species they care for at Perth Zoo.
  • Have an opportunity to explore the zoo independently to observe and enjoy the animals. On your exploration, use your provided activity sheet to gather fun facts and conservation information on a special species in preparation for your zoo keeper presentation.

Our National Science Week program is available to book Monday 12 August to Friday 16 August and is suitable for years PP - 6. Price includes zoo entry for the students and adults up to a maximum of 1:5 students for Year PP-3 and 1:10 students for Year 4-6.
