Building D4/14-88 McGregor Rd, Smithfield QLD 4878, Australia

Get ready for an evening packed with creativity, curiosity, and hands-on fun at Engineer the Future – a free STEM night designed especially for students in Years 3 to 5!

Hosted by the Engineers Australia Cairns Regional Committee, this exciting event will feature engaging activities such as the Egg Drop Challenge and building and testing your very own Paper Airplane Launcher. Kids will also hear from inspiring guest speakers who work in engineering and discover how science, technology, engineering, and maths are used to solve real-world problems.

Our committee members are fully qualified with Working With Children Checks and bring extensive experience in delivering youth-focused STEM events across a wide age range. Your child's safety, enjoyment, and learning are our top priorities.

During registration, we ask that you honestly answer the questions regarding any disabilities, medical needs, or support requirements your child may have. This information is drawn from the Girl Guides Health and Safety framework and will only be seen by event organisers. It helps us ensure all participants are supported appropriately and can fully engage in the activities on the night.
