Join us for an exciting evening of innovation and hands-on learning at Engineer the Future, a free STEM night designed especially for students in Years 7–9!
Hosted by the Engineers Australia Cairns Regional Committee, this event offers young minds the chance to explore the world of engineering through building and programming robots, interactive workshops, and inspiring guest speakers from the field. Students will have the opportunity to engage with real engineers, ask questions, and experience how science, technology, engineering and maths can shape the future.
Our committee members are fully qualified with Working With Children Checks and bring extensive experience in delivering youth-focused STEM events across a wide age range. Your child's safety, enjoyment, and learning are our top priorities.
During registration, we ask that you honestly answer the questions regarding any disabilities, medical needs, or support requirements your child may have. This information is drawn from the Girl Guides Health and Safety framework and will only be seen by event organisers. It helps us ensure all participants are supported appropriately and can fully engage in the activities on the night.
