Join us in Birdsville for the sixth of our travelling launch of National Science Week 2025, celebrating the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in one of Australia’s most iconic and remote outback towns.
We’ll gather at the Birdsville Hotel, a legendary outback pub that has stood since 1884, welcoming travellers from across the globe. Set on the edge of the Simpson Desert and above the Great Artesian Basin, Birdsville is known for its spectacular night skies, ancient geology, and the famous Birdsville Races, a celebration of endurance, community, and outback spirit. A great place to spark conversation, curiosity and celebrate STEM.
