  • DPI Hermitage Research Facility
604 Yangan Road, Warwick QLD 4370, Australia
Help us celebrate National Science Week this year at the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) Hermitage Research Facility's Schools Plant Science Competition Awards Day & Ag Science Expo.

This event formally recognises prize winners and participants of the 'Insects in Agriculture' themed competition and celebrates all things agricultural science.

You'll have the opportunity to listen to inspiring speeches from our guest speakers including Dr Kit Prendergast (AKA 'The Bee Babette') a wild bee scientist, ecologist and science communicator, plus mingle with DPI scientists and learn about our current research programs at the Hermitage Research Facility, discover various careers in science and agriculture and participate in an array of interactive displays in 'ScienceShow Alley' including the dynamic StreetScience 2025 National Science Week Show and a chance to get up close and personal with some cute baby farm animals and some almost as cute creepy, crawly LIVE insects.

This is an event you won't want to miss!
