Have you ever really looked at a plant? With pencil in hand, you’ll zoom in on the tiniest details of leaf, flower and seed to uncover the secrets of how nature works. Who will notice the most, adults or kids?
In this workshop, families will take time to slow down and observe like a scientist, seeing the world in a new way. Using pencils and watercolour paints, you will capture the beauty of the natural world, creating an artwork that showcases its textures, shapes and colours.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your botanical masterpiece and a new appreciation for nature!
Please note, this intergenerational workshop is designed to be a shared learning experience and children must be accompanied by a participating adult. One adult may accompany multiple children.
Parking is available under the building. The Hawkesbury Regional Gallery is located on level 1, the top floor.
