Let there be Light!!

Engagement with science through the investigation of the properties of light, its components and how it moves through space. The students will have the opportunity, using, consumables and equipment, to explore the nature of light including the colours of white light. We will also link the activity to our planet's biggest source of unpolarised light and the uses of polarised light in our society.

Students will be engaged in activities to explore the nature of light. We will use light changing paper to study the shadows made by objects, look at the colours that make up white light and investigate its bending and reflecting.
