At Corowa Preschool, we're excited to ignite curiosity and inspire young minds through four days of hands-on science fun! Our science-focused week is designed to spark children's natural curiosity, develop their observational skills, and lay the groundwork for future scientific thinking through playful and engaging experiences.

Children will have the opportunity to:

• Explore with Magnification – Using magnifying tools, children will investigate objects from their environment up close, sharpening their observational skills and encouraging them to notice the details in the world around them.
• Watch Roots Grow – A vegetable root viewer will allow children to observe how root vegetables like carrots and beetroot grow underground, offering a fascinating look at plant development.
• Discover Decomposition – Our see-through compost container will let children watch the decomposition process in real-time, teaching them about organic waste and sustainability.
• Become Weather Watchers – A preschool weather station will help children track temperature, wind, and rainfall, and even make their own weather predictions, just like real meteorologists!

Get Hands-On with Experiments – Throughout the week, children will participate in a variety of fun and colourful science experiments, including:
