The Young Tassie Scientists are proud representatives of the University of Tasmania. We dedicate August to visiting other young Tasmanians in their classrooms, travelling by air, land and sea, covering nearly 90 schools statewide. For the past 23 years, YTS has trained some of Tasmania's premier science communicators, producing award-winning research, people, programs and presentations.
The Young Tassie Scientists program is made possible by National Science Week funding from the Australian Government and the University of Tasmania.
