An oasis of warmth in the midst of the Canberra winter, the Curious Feast will ease you into National Science Week with plenty of hot food and drinks along with live music to warm you from the inside. Join us at MOLO Live at ANU on a Friday night, and make an evening of it with your friends.

Alongside the bar and food trucks, Canberra characters will show you where science and technology are hidden in everyday life. See Tharwa Valley Forge mold metal into blades and chat about the implements used to help make the food in your hands. Then discuss the way we eat our food and what trends we can observe in the food van queue with an ANU researcher, showing you how social science is done in real time.

Done eating? Help reduce waste with local business GOTERRA by turning your food scraps into food for edible insects, or dare to taste the insects yourself! Grab a drink and join us by the fire for a game and discover what makes your brain tick under pressure. So, join friends old and new as you strike a conversation to indulge your curiosity under the fairy lights at ANU’s MOLO Live. The science is there, you just have to uncover it!

This free event is sure to whet your appetite for National Science Week 2018’s Canberra program.
