The Adventures of Mungo the Magpie

A delightful theatrical adventure for the whole family in the beautiful surrounds of Cleland Wildlife Park that explores some of the very real and awesome interactions South Australians have experienced with magpies in and around their homes. Features performers from Adelaide Youth Theatre.

“The Adventures of Mungo the Magpie” is a delightful theatrical adventure for the whole family in the beautiful surrounds of Cleland Wildlife Park. It explores some of the very real and awesome interactions South Australians have experienced with magpies in and around their homes.

Have you ever been swooped by a magpie? Do you have magpies that regularly visit your garden? Featuring performers from Adelaide Youth Theatre, “The Adventures of Mungo the Magpie” is an adventure into an iconic bird that many of us have seen and heard.

The show is part of “The Festival of the Magpie”, a wonderful Cleland experience that includes a series of talks and activities to further share the stories of the fascinating and delightful interactions between humans and magpies.

Show times 11am and 1pm. FREE with entry to Cleland Wildlife Park.
