Become a scientist for the day at our huge outdoor science celebration! Explore the Garden like you’ve never done before: get hands-on with science experiments, explore behind-the-scenes, visit state-of-the-art science facilities and use scientific equipment. There’s fun for everyone!

Get hands-on with science at this huge outdoor science festival at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. There’s fun for everyone – behind the scenes tours, talks, experiments and much more! It’s a free, outdoor family and community event celebrating science and providing a range of diverse and exciting hands-on science activities accessible for all ages.

Living Laboratory will showcase the environmental sciences and open up our facilities to the general public, as well as including exhibition providers from community, universities, and other scientific and cultural institutions.
