Escape Room: Food – Different by design

Set in a biotechnology research centre, your students are developing a more weather-resistant type of rice. Suddenly, the rice fields begin to flood. It’s up to your students to complete a series of food-themed activities, find the hidden codes and save the research.

Science news lessons: Genetically modified food

In our latest science news lesson, students explore genetically modified food and consider the grey space of the Mexican GM corn debate. They’ll critically analyse a strong-sided debate, practise persuasive language techniques and builds their interpersonal capabilities as they learn to empathize with others.
