A week-long program of events for students that will incorporate the Destination Moon theme and highlight the Year of the Periodic Table. Activities will include building a solar powered Moon rover and a moonscape to test it on, moonscape walk with VR goggles, Astronomy Club night and space food.

Community STEM Day

All communications and roads have been cut by a natural disaster and you need to get an urgent message through. Teams of six Year 6 students from local primary schools will compete for prizes and school pride to make a working prototype device that sends coded messages using electrical circuits.

Learn how to make your own ice cream, play with slime.... Not only will you get to watch some wacky science, you'll get to try your hand at heaps of your own experiments! Plus you'll get to meet a selection of our friendly animals and learn all about the wildest branch of science - zoology!
