This year's Young Tassie Scientists are University of Tasmania scientists who are keen to share their work through interactive talks and hands-on activities in Tasmanian schools and communities during National Science Week.

The Young Tassie Scientists on this roadtrip are:

  • Paula Ruiz-Ruiz (she/her), marine scientist - Marine biology & ecology
  • James Temple (he/him), biostatistician – Engineering and machine learning
  • Marlvin Tewara (he/him), medical scientist - Environmental health: pollen and allergies
  • Ash Russell (they/them), biostatistician - Brains and bodies
