Come along to our National Science Week Open Night where we are celebrating all things Science. Our school have been investigating how important species survival is to our world and have organised an awesome STEM challenge that involves making a Floating Bird Platform or a Bridge for Animals to cross the road safely. Our students will be designing and making binoculars and spotting our local birds in their habitats. These learning experiences are designed to complement our students ongoing exploration of Biological Science and help consolidate their knowledge and inspire others to take an active role in their learning.
On the night our school will be open for our community to come and see all of our amazing science work. We will be having hands-on experiments whereby we will investigate which floating platforms work to support animals and which bridges are strong and can span the distance to help animals cross the road safely. Students will be able to showcase a culmination of their projects, with prizes awarded for the strongest structures and the best designed structure.
