Journey deep underground Australian Parliament House this National Science Week with an expert geologist from Geoscience Australia to explore the phenomenon called an ‘Unconformity’ – an ancient rock formation and a fascinating piece of a puzzle which helps us understand the Earth in the Canberra region.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see this geological formation where two rock masses, made millions of years apart, joined and consider what it reveals about how our environment changes.

Tours will run on Friday 11 August at 5:30pm, 6:00pm and 6:30pm and Saturday 12 August at 2:00pm, 2:30pm and 3:00pm. All tours run for one hour.
