Our Junior School students will be tasked with creating a class sculpture with the tangible waste that is created through the delivery of food from our Dining Hall.
As a day and boarding school The SCOTS PGC College feeds all students morning tea and lunch everyday. In the Junior School, this process can produce a large amount of waste when food is delivered to students. We have been focussed on ways to reduce our waste.
During National Science Week every class in the Junior School will be recycling materials that would usually end of in landfill to produce a scientific sculpture which will then be displayed and judged by the student and staff. The winning class will receive the prize of a complete worm farm system!
