The Sydney Science Trail is back this August. Join us for a family-friendly science bonanza at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, and the Australian Museum.
Celebrate National Science Week with a free, interactive program of science talks, outdoor activities and hands-on science fair stalls.
There’s something for every curious mind – from wildlife encounters, First Nations bush food walks, DIY kaleidoscopes, fizzing stage experiments and more. You can even have your weirdest science questions answered by Dr Karl from the University of Sydney and the ABC.
You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the scenic Garden with food trucks, face-painting, nature-play activities and roving performers.
All activities are free, however registrations are required. Book your morning session (10.00am-12.30pm) or afternoon session (12.30pm-3.00pm) at www.australianbotanicgarden.com.au.
Sydney Science Trail is a partnership of the Australian Museum and the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust supported by funding from Inspiring Australia as part of National Science Week, University of Technology Sydney, University of New England and the Centenary Institute. Sydney Science Trail is proudly supported by ABC Radio Sydney.
