Join Dr Ceri Brenner, ANSTO’s leader of the Centre for Accelerator Science, for an engaging look at some key research occurring locally which includes:

• Understanding the impacts of galactic cosmic radiation on human cells in order to protect the safety of astronauts in space;
• Characterisation of the environment of planets and moons in our solar system in a search to find a climate suitable to harbor microscopic life-form;
• Testing spacecraft materials and instrumentation here on Earth to ensure that it is fit to use in space
