Shire of Harvey Libraries-Curious Minds

Join us for Shire of Harvey Libraries-Curious Minds, a series of two exciting workshops at Australind Library and Harvey Library during National Science Week. You and your family will have the opportunity to learn and experiment with innovative STEM concepts, with an emphasis on new and emerging technology.

You will get to experience virtual reality, 3D printing, Scratch coding and stop motion animation using iPads. You can also explore augmented reality apps like Quiver Vision and Devar. Plus, you will have fun with science experiments, Lego Wedo, Turing Table and a range of challenge activities such as bridge building, algorithm games, and marble runs.

Our friendly library staff will be there to guide you through the activities, show you some awesome demonstrations and help you participate in the workshops. You will have a chance to ask questions, discover new things and have a lot of fun.
