These two events are scheduled for Friday 20 August (for school groups) and Saturday 21 August (for families and the general public). Visitors will have the opportunity to see inside Adelaide’s Micro-X factory, which develops and produces next generation X-ray imaging equipment incorporating innovative design and carbon nanotube technology.
Free photography workshops, presented by Digido Studios, and other science related art and craft activities will be offered alongside guided tours around the Tonsley Innovation District. Join us for a fun filled day and learn more about how innovation and ‘Seeing Things Differently’ can lead to technological advancement across various industries. Find out how Palaeontologists at Flinders University use X-ray technology in their research and meet some of Micro-X’s fellow Tonsley Innovation District tenants such as Autism SA and the Australian Industrial Transformation Institute.
