STEM Robotics is a workshop for children aged 6-11. The play element in this workshop turns robotics into an educational tool which encourages a curiosity in the science disciplines even in a child who has not demonstrated interest in STEM before.
Through this interactive experience, children will learn principles of robotics design, electrical and mechanical engineering concepts, automobile designs and programming patterns.
STEM concepts are learned in practical ways such as learning about speed, movement, the law of action-reaction (science); understand how parts work together and learn to write simple codes (technology); creating a problem statement, analysing it, and designing and testing solutions (engineering); and taking measurements, sequencing, creating and using formulas (mathematics).
Children will also learn about free robotics educational apps available to use at home.
