571 Montague Road, Modbury SA 5092, Australia

To celebrate National Science Week, the Tea Tree Gully Library is excited to be hosting a new series of science talks – Sci Chat. Presented by leading researchers and science communicators, Sci Chat lets you engage with the freshest research in science that influences your everyday life.

Meet Assoc. Prof. Tasha Stanton from The University of South Australia. Tasha is a clinical pain neuroscientist, trained as a physiotherapist, who researches ways to develop new brain-based treatments for pain.

Learn about how pain and the brain are connected, and how our senses can be tricked to changing the way we feel pain.

This free event will be held in the Relaxed Reading Area of the library and light refreshments will be available.

There will be time for questions at the end of the talk.

Bookings are essential.
