The RMIT Women in STEM Conference is designed to provide students and staff at RMIT a chance to connect and engage with various aspects of STEM. This interactive conference will explore the theme Innovation: Powering Future Industries through practical activities, speakers, and industry experts. Students will have the opportunity to connect and network with amazing alumnae, explore their own STEM superpowers and enjoy a free lunch. The conference is designed primarily for current and past RMIT VE students however is open to RMIT students and staff of all genders who support gender equity in STEM.
Join the Conference on Wednesday 16 August at RMIT City Campus (Megaflex 008.04.011) or virtually via Microsoft Teams and celebrate National Science Week. You can join for some or all of the conference. Register to secure your spot.
9:30-10am (hybrid) Welcome and keynote address.
10-11am (hybrid) Interactive panel discussion. Ask your questions, learn where they’ve taken their career and hear their advice for you.
11-11:20am (in-person only) Catered morning tea.
11:20am-12:30pm (in-person only) Participate in one of our practical STEM workshops, led by CoVE staff and Women in STEM Ambassadors.
12:30-1:30pm (in-person only) Join us for a catered lunch, Women in STEM VE awards and an interactive networking activity.
