One Arm Point Remote Community School will be working with community members to hold a science festival that focuses on the traditional knowledge from Bardi Country.

This festival continues our work with the Two-Way Science program and the students' interest in environmental science and authentic engineering.

The activities will tie in with some of the projects that are currently happening in the school through our learning on Country and Language programs such as bird watching and the local fishing traps, as well as begin students thinking about upcoming projects.

Activities include exploring the physics of aerodynamics and bird feathers, the chemistry behind coral bleaching and other ways to investigate the science behind Bardi knowledge.
