Fire up those neurons this winter and make no-knit neurons with Neural Knitworks artist Pat Pillai and textile artist Rita Pearce.
Promoting mind and brain health, they’ll help participants cut, wrap, curl or knot materials all while learning about neuroscience. Win/win!
Pat’s work is informed by a career in laboratory science and her interest in better outcomes for mental health.
Rita, a former registered nurse, developed a particular interest in using her art as a way of engaging with and educating people about mental health.
