Mad Microscopes with Street Science

Junior scientists get hands-on as they observe the difference between living & non-living specimens. Participants get to use the latest digital microscopes to capture images of their discoveries. Participants will be taken outside for part of the workshop to explore their surroundings using their digital microscopes.

Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.

Note: activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

All adults and children must be booked in as a participant to this event. A maximum of 4 children per adult applies. Please arrive ten minutes early to check in and confirm your attendance. If you cannot attend this event, please cancel your bookings online via Eventbrite.

Location Information

Parking is at the front of the centre, with the centre located at the end of the boardwalk to the left of the entrance to the reserve.
