At Lara Primary School we will be running a school science expo engaging family and local community to make meaningful connections with science around our community and in our
everyday lives.

Students will be participating in an expo where they can run experiments, demonstrate scientific concepts, present local programs, and explore STEM in meaningful hands on ways during National Science Week.

We endeavour to engage our students and families in science, and believe engaging students and our community in experiences like a science expo give us this opportunity to develop a strong lasting connection with our community and Country, encourage stewardship and citizen science to encourage a life-long love for science and educational trajectory of science subjects in high school and university.
