The John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School Spectacular incorporates the knowledge of our secondary teachers and the sharing of scientific activities to ignite curiosity and wonder.

Our Year 3 to 6 students will attend a session where they could see the amazing transformations of matter with elephant toothpaste, mini volcanoes or dry ice experiments to name a few. 

Over the course of Science Week, all Pre Kindy to Year 6 students will be conducting experiments, noting the process of questioning, predicting, conducting and evaluating. They then will be inviting their parents into the school for an end of the week Expo. 

Our Year 6 students will be conducting their own experiments, culminating with a Community Science Fair. These experiments will then be viewed by all students in the school, with teachers providing formal feedback. 

Our officiators will include primary & secondary staff, dressed as all laboratory scientists dress, in the official white lab coat. The aim of these events is to engage all students with a variety of science concepts in an entertaining fashion.
