The Western Australian Herbarium has been at the forefront of innovation in collecting, documenting, storing and classifying botanical collections since it was formally established in 1929.

Join us for a tour of the Western Australian Herbarium in Kensington this National Science Week and discover how we preserve, document and interpret some of the most important and historical collections in Australia, including some dating back to 1770 that were collected by famed botanist Joseph Banks on Cook's voyage to Australia.
