#HackTheDrones – Kadina

  • - (ACST)
  • Kadina Rotary Markets
Victoria Square, Kadina SA 5554, Australia

Drones, with their incredible capabilities and endless possibilities, have captured the imagination of both children and adults alike.

They are not just cool gadgets or toys; they serve practical purposes and have the potential to revolutionise various industries.

Drones are useful and fun.

Imagine a future where the skies above country towns are filled with buzzing drones. These aerial vehicles can so much more than just fly around. They can capture stunning aerial photographs, create detailed maps of land, transport objects from one place to another, and even be customized with lights to create dazzling displays. But that's not all – did you know that drones can also be programmed to fly in synchronized groups, forming what is known as a swarm?

In celebration of National Science Week, are excited to announce our Drone Licence pop-up workshop, which will be heading to towns in regional South Australia.

Our first stop will be at the Kadina markets, where we will set up a dedicated drone cage for kids to take their first steps towards becoming the drone navigators of the future!

This event is put together by #HackTheTriangle, WeCollaborate and the Moonta and District Progress Association.
