This signature one day event demonstrates the link between science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) to everything around us in a fun & interactive way.
We invite 100-150 girls aged 10-17 to come and join the fun and be inspired by hands-on workshops led by role-model professionals in STEM.
The day consists of 45-minute workshops with 15-20 girls per workshop, and each girl has a chance to experience 4 workshops throughout the day.
This is a free and educational event, and lunch will be provided on-site, girls should bring their own water bottle and snacks for morning and afternoon tea. Registration will be open until beginning of August.
Every girl who registers will also receive an invitation to g4g Lab, a free, online educational tool designed to invite young science explorers from around the world to experiment with STEM. Girls are encouraged to explore the g4g Lab before they come to g4g Day. Find out more about g4g Lab.
This project is being sponsored by Defence Force Recruiting, ANU, Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT, and g4g. This Inspiring Australia initiative is supported by the Australian Government as part of National Science Week.
