First Nations STEM Careers Day

An exciting day discovering the world of STEM careers and the diverse pathways available, this will provide valuable insights to all.

Students and their guests will be collected by bus from Queens Park, Warwick at 8:30am. The bus will transport students and their guests from each location before returning them to the pick-up point at 2:30pm. 

The STEM career activities will commence at the UQ Solar Farm, where students and their guests will have the opportunity to enjoy morning tea while yarning with representatives from industry, educational institutions and experienced pathway counsellors.

Following the UQ Solar Farm session, students and guests will visit the Ag Science Expo at the Hermitage Research Facility. Here, they will be able to participate guided tours, informative presentations, and explore interactive displays. Lunch will also be provided.
