Exploring Careers in STEM

Interested in a career in STEM? Come along to Melton City Libraries to hear from a diverse panel of young people who work in the field. Ingrid, Daniel and Josh will speak about their journeys so far working in the industry, and answer any questions you may have.

The panel includes

  • Ingrid Freeman (data science student at Melbourne University and data science associate at PWC Australia);
  • Daniel Masini (STEM Squad Lead at Western BACE, graphic designer and media design at Acusensus, TwistED science presenter, IT major and space science student at RMIT University); and
  • Josh Quinal (STEM Squad Lead at Western BACE, web designer/developer at Caring Zone, and engineering (mechatronics) student at RMIT University).

Discussions will be moderated by Western BACE's Community Manager, Asha Reech.

For ages 14+

This inspiring Australia initiative is supported by the Australian Government as part of National Science week, and proudly presented by Western BACE.

This event will be on the ground floor in the Balam Balam theatre room of Melton Library at 31 McKenzie Street, Melton. Untimed parking can be accessed at the rear of the library through the Henry Street entrance. There is additional timed parking at the front of the library along McKenzie Street. Melton Library is wheelchair accessible and has accessible bathroom facilities.
