Building Bridges to STEM: Empowering Parents to Motivate and Inspire Their Young Person

What better way to celebrate National Science Week than to join the CSIRO at Carnes Hill Library to find out how you can support your young person's interest in STEM, now and into the future?

Not sure what STEM is?

STEM is all about learning and development that incorporates science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM enables children and teens to develop key skills such as problem-solving and critical analysis.

Calling all parents and carers of young people and teenagers: don't miss this opportunity to discover how you can play a crucial role in nurturing their interest in STEM. CSIRO's Generation STEM* team will share insights and advice on practical ways to connect what your young person is learning in school to the exciting possibilities of STEM careers. Equip yourself with the tools to guide them towards a bright and fulfilling future.

Whilst your young person engages in a variety of science-based activities in the library as part of the Carnes Hill Science Fair, parents are invited to join the half-hour information session followed by a Q&A session.
