Join us at the Australian National Botanic Gardens for National Science Week to learn about pollination and how different creatures help to pollinate plants by creating your own pollinator. Using craft items, create an insect and test how well it can gather pollen as it stops on flowers.
You will also be creating and testing different kinds of wind pollinated seeds. Learn about what makes a seed soar in the wind and which seeds are designed to group together.
Activities are aimed at primary school aged children and their families.
Cost: $5 per child, accompanying adults free, all children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Meet at the Crosbie Morrison Building for an hour of scientific, after school fun.
