Survival is the ultimate game of hide and seek, in our most exciting excursion package yet students are introduced to the unique nature of water and the cunning strategies of marine life that would put even the best super spies and secret agents to shame.

Inspired by this year's National Science Week school theme, the Aquarium of Western Australia's SEAcret Agent is a fun filled investigation of light, sound, secret messages and optical illusions. The package includes:

  • an exclusive session in our digital discovery room Ocean Play
  • a themed presentation based on year level;
  • hands–on activities;
  • and a seacret agent scavenger hunt.

There is more to life in the ocean than meets the eye!

Themed presentation: PP-Year 2: Hide and seek

Can you use hearing to hide? Slime bubbles and sour tastes? Discover the unique ways in which marine life use smell, taste, touch, sight and hearing to find their food, or hide from their predators.

Themed presentation: Year 3-4 : Evasion tactics

Discover the adaptations that would be the envy of any super spy. Inspired by nature, you will then get the chance to create your own ultimate super spy, villain or hero.

This full-day program includes access to all of AQWA's exhibits, as well as a specially designed program of curriculum linked activities and presentations delivered by our Education Team.
