Every winter, in the heart of Port Phillip Bay and parts of the Great Southern Reef, a truly amazing natural phenomenon takes place: the gathering of thousands and thousands of great spider crabs.
Snorkellers and divers from around Australia brave frigid winter waters to catch a glimpse of this world-famous spectacle.
Yet, despite global attention, the aggregation is still shrouded in mystery.
Now, you can experience the event from the comfort of home, without getting wet, and help scientists unravel the mystery of this annual phenomenon.
