Edith Cowan Uni supporting National Science Week in WA

Edith Cowan University is taking part in a range of events during National Science week. Dr Magda Wajrak will be running chemistry workshops as part of the 2019 VIP launch and Youth Event, and PhD candidate Anjke Frouws will discuss her work on seagrass and impacts of climate change.

We’ll also be running these on-campus events:

  • Nursing and Midwifery Annual Career Evening on Friday 16 August, and a Medical and Health Sciences Showcase Evening on Wednesday 21 August. (Joondalup Campus)
  • Girls Programming Network (GPN) event for high school girls on Thursday 10 August. GPN aims to inspire and support girls interested in computers and technology and is open to girls from all schools. (Joondalup Campus)
  • Our popular LabRats event, bringing hands-on conservation and wildlife biology and environmental science to high school students in years 9 and 10. (South West Campus in Bunbury)
