When you hear the word ‘scientist’ do you picture the stereotypical be-spectacled man in a lab-coat? The Women of Waite want to bust this myth and give you a glimpse into the realities, challenges and benefits of exactly what a working scientist is and does.
You’ll meet some of the awesome female researchers of the Waite Research Precinct from different career stages in a panel discussion where they talk about their research but also their career path, achievements and challenges of being a female scientist.
