BeakerStreet@TMAG, a pop-up science bar at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, is a stunning two-night festival for adults, introducing Australia’s public to today’s most exciting scientific minds and ideas.

Stop in for engaging presentations by prominent world-leading researchers, then have a beer with the speakers. Dance to swinging bands in the Antarctic Bar, sit in on an intimate talk with one of Australia’s top scientists, or warm up with a delicious hot drink in the Watergate Courtyard. Check out our hands-on workshops and live music/visual art collaborations, chat to 100+ roving scientists, and cast your vote in the science photography competition and exhibition!

This event is geared at adults, and Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. Drink sales (both with and without alcohol) go directly to funding this event and keeping it free and accessible for everyone, so please help support BeakerStreet@TMAG by enjoying a beverage with us.
