To celebrate the National Science Week, The Australian Brain Alliance EMCR Network is hosting a FREE showcase of some of the best North QLD brain science research. We welcome all to attend, whether you are an EMCR, or more senior, and work in the field of brain sciences.

  • Dr Hayley Letson, Research Fellow, James Cook University, Townsville | Concussion in sport: lessons from the battlefield
  • Dr Smriti Krishna, Research Fellow, James Cook University, Townsville | Cerebral disease: what we know about its relation to epigenetics
  • Dr Alexandra Trollope, Senior Lecturer, James Cook University, Townsville | Modelling stroke in animals

Each presenter will provide a 15-minute talk, followed by a catered networking event.
