Grab a pencil, pop on your Chiropterologist’s hat & join us, as part of the 2018 Sydney Science Festival, to get to know a little more about the amazing nocturnal world of the tiny microbats that inhabit the night skies of Sydney. We’ll use a little investigative image research to draw them, some of the insects they feast on and the places they can call home.

We’ll also look at Urban Habitat conservation and creation, including the innovative creation of ‘bat flat’ structures created by Sydney Harbour Trees and we’ll even get a glimpse into the microbat maze structures designed for the Addison Road Community Centre Habitat Tree on site.  Through our Drawing explorations, we think you’ll soon see microbats are A – Mazing!

Workshops are OPEN TO ALL AGES and have been designed to inspire both young & old to look more closely at what might be going on in Sydney’s backyards.
