More Info

Engage your students in scientific inquiry and observation while working with a specialist scientific illustrator to draw and describe specimens from the South Australian Museum’s diverse collections.

Students will examine scientific drawings from the Museum’s archives and learn more about science as a human endeavour.

This workshop will provide opportunities for students to use scientific drawing to understand animal classification and adaptation and how that knowledge can be applied in a real-life context.

The program includes a performance by Heaps Good Productions and a visit to the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize exhibition.

Bookings essential.
