Astronomy and Light Festival

The astronomy and Light Festival will be an evening of light (and dark) related fun at Scienceworks in Spotswood, featuring astronomers and optics researchers from across Victoria and Australia. A public event for all ages.

The Astronomy and Light Festival brings to you a showcase of the latest astronomy and light research for a night of science and fun.

The festival will include talks by local leading researchers, hands-on demonstrations, telescope observing, planetarium and light room shows. There will be displays by research and industry leaders. This event brings together for the first time universities, amateur astronomy societies, professional optical and astronomy groups, Museum Victoria, schools, Telescopes in Schools and industry groups.
